Thank you for your understanding of our policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Veterinarians are considered essential and we are planning on staying open to see our patients who need care. In order to do that, we have updated our policy to reflect the recommendations of the CDC. We will only be seeing patients for essential appointments, including illnesses and core vaccines. If you are uncertain if your pet needs to be seen please call our office or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are feeling sick in any way, please reschedule your appointment or have a family member or friend bring your pet.
If your pet is scheduled for a drop-off, we will email you the Consent for Treatment paperwork and an estimate for treatment. We will get verbal authorizations over the phone.
We ask that when you arrive at the clinic you stay in your car and call to let us know you are here and confirm your cell number. One of our nurses will call you back and get a history on your pet, the same as we would if you came into the clinic.It would greatly help us if you gave all of your concerns to the nurse when we call you for a history, that way our Dr. can address all of your concerns during the exam.
A nurse will come out to your car to get your pet.
Cats MUST be in a carrier. We ask that you place the carrier outside of the car when we get there.
Dogs MUST be on a leash. We ask that you take your dog out of your car. We will place a slip lead on your dog and have you take off their leash.
We will take your pet into the clinic for the exam. After the exam the Dr. will call you with a treatment plan and discuss the findings from the exam.
The nurse will get everything ready and call you to go over any medications and the invoice, which can be paid over the phone.
The nurse will then bring your pet back to you. Cat carriers will have been wiped down in the clinic before bringing it back to you. You can replace your dog’s leash and we will take the slip lead off.
Our goal is to minimize contact as much as possible, for our safety and yours. Please understand that appointments may take a bit longer than usual.
